Guitare
Hervé Hurtret started playing guitar at the age of 15 and his first influences are both jazz and rock: John Coltrane, Miles Davis, Jeff Beck, King Crimson and of course John MacLaughlin.
Around the age of 20, the first bands in which he took part were touring
Very clearly towards modern jazz (Pat Métheny, Uzeb and Larry Carlton …) The alternation of personal compositions with covers of standards of the time gives him the basis of his current style.
His meeting with Nina brought him to South America.
In the same spirit he married Nina and her passion for Brazilian music. But he always returns with pleasure to his first musical loves.
He writes most of the arrangements and is the artistic director of the group.
